I was working in Langney today, and met a really interesting guy, Paul Green. He's a landscape gardener, and has worked as head groundsman for both Stevenage FC and a very well known public school. He told me he'd trained as a fine turf technician, and up until then I never knew grass could be so interesting. At 36 he has now set himself up in business so that he can work the way he feels it should be done rather than working in the confines of a "big" business.
